I have read many bad reports about after market warrantys, some ,it has been said ,are not worth the paper they are written on,the problem is you only find out when you claim,so be very careful to read the small print.
Recently i read in the daily express, that one of the motoring organisations does a really good one.The trouble is i cant remember if it was the AA or the RAC!!,it may be worth you checking them out.Good luck
There are two sides to every story.

I would go with the RAC Or AA at least they are a big company abd it will be much easyer to complain to if things do go wrongFiliss0

You should take a look at the AA "Breakdown Warranty" for £65 a year as long as u have an AA breakdown policy. Basically if your car breaks down they will repair it up to £500 with a £25 excess (up to 5 times a year). I have it on my car and have used it once...quickly paid up, saved me over £140
.
Even cheaper with quidco. Basic breakdown policy works out to around £10 after cashback, plus the warranty = cover for £75
