Looking for a deal - not getting far
Hi all, I have a Samsung S4, it's my second one after claiming on my insurance for a previously damaged one. I'm a huge fan of Samsung's so i would like another, but here's the problem, i have an absolutely sweet contract with Three, literally unlimited everything for £27 a month, back from the days when they were giving…

contract, <11GBP, data, use abroad.
I'm currently on Three payg and am quite happy. Though with busy city life I wonder if it would make sense to upgrade to a contract. I'd be willing to pay 10GBP/month, and mobile data is important to me. Another thing important to me is using my phone abroad at UK rates, mainly data. This works very well with Three.…

Carphone Warehouse overcharged me and don't want to solve the problem
I placed an order for Huawei P9 Lite on Nov 24 at a price of 179.99 pounds. I got the confirmation email which showed the price is also 179.99 pounds. On Nov 25, I received the headset and started using it. Then on Nov 27, my bank account was updated and showed that I had been charged 249.99 pounds for this headset, which…

Quick Mobile Fix Issues
I purchased a refurbished Iphone 5s from these people and received a phone next day. Problem is, it didn't charge or power up. I contacted the company and advised I wasn't happy and was returning the item under their 14 day Money Back Guarantee. The company provided me with a prepaid postage label and I received a proof of…

Upgrade for Samsung S4?
My trusty Samsung is on its last legs, its time to look at replacements. I would like a more top of the range phone but I hate the prices! I have in my mind I am comfortable paying £35 tops. I have gotten used to pauing £15 I guess haha. I would use a fair bit of data so would need 3-4gb at least in a tariff. The new…

Argument re Three in Touch from abroad
I've just returned from a holiday in Jamaica to a £50 charge for making a call back to the UK. I made that call using the Three in Touch app while in an area with no mobile coverage at all. The phone was connected to wifi. I contested this charge on the basis that high roaming call charges are only justifiable on the basis…

What new iPhone would you buy 6s or 7?
Hi, Looking to buy a new iPhone on my trip to the US to replace the aging and out of memory iPhone 6 16gb that I currently have and is running out of memory. refurbished iPhone 6s 64gb - $509 iPhone 7 128gb - $750 I usually upgrade every 2 years, the reason I am going for the larger memory options is not to run out of…

I would be prepared to pay 12…

Advice needed on moving to sim only from contract
My contract ran out last October with EE. I was paying around £25 p/m for 1 GB data, 1,000 minutes, unlimited texts on iPhone 5C. I've been into the CWarehouse shop and I'm just not happy with the deals. I only use about 20 mins calls p/m, lots of texts and quite a bit of data for google and social media, no video…

EE non cancellation
Back in October 2016, I cancelled my contract by telephoning EE cancellations as requested, it seems though that they continued to take the monthly fee's from my account, I am currently contacting EE, I suspect as with a previous provider this will need more than a telephone conversation. I did last year have a similar…

IPhone 7 v Samsung S6
I have a Samsung S6 and quite happy with it. Have been asked if I'd like an iPhone 7 as a gift. Question is I've an iPad so do I really need an iPhone and are they really worth it? Always said I'd like an iPhone but I know the battery doesn't last as long as my Samsung so needs charging more frequently. Views anyone…

Is it worth keeping old SIMs from abroad?
When I go abroad I often get a local SIM card for making local calls. I figure this must be cheaper than making calls on my UK network, and I have two phones so I'm still contactable on my UK number. Is it worth keeping the SIMs I buy abroad in case I go back to the country concerned? Or will they be deactivated after a…

Upgrading my O2 contract to 20GB? Will I be enrolled onto refresh?
Or is it too late? My contract was activated early October. I chose an iPhone 7 Plus on the £40 per month tariff as that was more my price range last year, that entitles me to unlimited texts and calls, and 5GB of data. Although O2 promote their 'Refresh' on tariffs with 20GB or more. I've decided I'd like to upgrade my…
