How to keep credit when porting away from PAYG?
I am currently on PAYG with Three, but would like to port my number away to a new contract (contract doesn't exist yet). How do I do this while still retaining my existing credit with Three? I'd be happy to have a secondary PAYG SIM with Three for data use abroad, or lending to visitors etc. This is probably a stupid…

Any cheap cashback deals for contracts or pay-as-you-go phones?
A year or so ago there were some deals (after cashback) for 50 pence a month with a refurbished phone or basic Nokia. Also, Carphone Warehouse had low priced for pay as you go smartphones if you qualified for an upgrade. Does anyone know if similar deals still exist?

I'm on the look out for a no data PAYG sim that also has a long validity period. Basically my dad does not have a mobile but I would like to have the security of knowing there is an emergency mobile in his glovebox. He does not need any data but when I've looked, I can only find packages that have data attached and are…

Haggling with EE
HI all, two years ago I tried haggling with retentions and got no better than a package they could offer to someone off the street. I'm at the end of my current contract, and guess what? They won't even offer me a deal that I've seen on uswitch! I can't take the new deal as you can't port from within. Anyone got any tips?

Receiving BT Mobile Discount By Mistake
I cancelled my BT broadband/phone when I moved house 18 months ago, but kept my BT mobile because I was still in contract for that (12 months). I previously received a £5 per month discount because I had BT broadband and they told me when I cancelled I would no longer get this discount. However, they're still giving me the…

Vodafone, unable to send a new phone back (3 months ago)
So here is the story so far: On Sept 14th I ordered 2 iPhone 7 plus' one rose gold 32gb and one Jet Black 128gb and they told us we might have it by the end of the week, so I believed them carried on with the order, over the next month or so I rang them so many times asking if I would be getting the phone, after the third…

4 mobiles in the family
Myself, my wife and two daughters are all on contracts with EE (the only provider with decent reception in this part of deepest Shropshire). Is there a way to combine all 4 contracts to save us a bit of money? None of us are on particularly expensive deals but it is currently costing me nearly £150 a month.

TalkMobile - a warning
Yes, this company offers cheap service, but beware. There are no overseas packages to buy, if you travel you pay by the minute. You'll be getting 3G not 4G, that means internet and data can be slow or very slow. I found the customer service to be very good, but am moving to get faster speeds and cheap deals on overseas…

EE double-deducting for add-ons?
A friend of mine returned to the UK. She had a couple of quid left on her EE phone. End of December, we added £10 credit (got a text) and then chose a £5 data "add-on" (got an acknowledgement text). But £10 had been deducted. Well, we didn't quite get around to doing anything about it. We registered online, but couldn't…
