iCard Mobile Dissolved (2017)

Hello,

Does anyone know anything about iCard Mobile going bust?

I have a mobile number with them. The phone stopped making outgoing calls today - still receives inbound calls though.

Companies house lists them as dissolved.

Tried to call the landline number on the iCard website - out of service.

Tried to email them - it bounces back.

Tried to use the web form contact on their website - error message.

Called Comms ombudsman - they've not heard of them.

Called Ofcom - they think iCard is still trading.

I asked the guy at Ofcom what the procedure was for obtaining a PAC code from a company that wasn't responding and he said there is none. Ofcom publish procedures for a company to follow, but if the company doesn't follow them and has been wound up then there is no comeback.

Anyone else use iCard Mobile?

FYI, it's still possible to buy PayPoint iCard voucers so watch out (I found this out the hard way).

If iCard has gone out of business I wonder what they're doing with all the money received from PP? I'm no expert but isn't that activity fraudulent?

Both iCard Mobile and ET Telecom (which runs iCard according to their T&Cs) are listed as dissolved. ETT was dissolved in November 2016. The company/brand might have been sold again ...
