Upgrading my O2 contract to 20GB? Will I be enrolled onto refresh?

My contract was activated early October. I chose an iPhone 7 Plus on the £40 per month tariff as that was more my price range last year, that entitles me to unlimited texts and calls, and 5GB of data.

Although O2 promote their 'Refresh' on tariffs with 20GB or more. I've decided I'd like to upgrade my tariff for more data as I'm finding 5GB isn't a lot for as much as I use it, an for £50 per month, they'll give me 20GB of data, and I'd be interested in upgrading early if the price was right.

Will upgrading to 20GB enrol me onto refresh? Or did I have to originally start on that contract?

The new contract should go over to refresh scheme, infact you might find your already on refresh as its been around a couple years.

I don't know how useful they are but o2 do offer a Live Chat service on their website.

Might be worth looking into (and/or Facebook/Twitter).

When you log into my02 (app/online) you should see the handset cost/monthly line rental as two separate entities if your contract has been upgraded to o2 Refresh.

You purchased your iPhone through CPW didn't you?

After I posted on here, I messaged their Facebook page and they said I wouldn't be enrolled onto it. Which is a shame but not to worry, I'll consider just upgrading anyway if the price is right, otherwise I'll just carry it over to the extra year
