Desperately seeking way out mobile phone contract

Please does anyone know of any ways out of a mobile phone contract?
I know you can buy yourself out of
I have full phone coverage so can't argue that.
I can't afford my contract and have 18 months left on it. I don't know anyone who wants to buy it off me as in friend.
I don't use the data package and they won't reduce it.
I don't use many mins or texts and am stuck with iPhone 6s Plus phone which is why I took out contract because I stupidly wanted the phone have learnt my lesson!!

You could try & sell the handset without the sim & then use the money you get from that to reduce the balance of your early termination then pay the difference?

Alternatively look for a 0% money transfer card & see if you get enough of a limit to allow you to buy out your contract with the transfer, then pay the money off each month before the 0% offer runs out...

Bankruptcy or death, the only surefire ways to get out without an early termination charge.

Imagine if everyone got an expensive phone and then 6 months later managed to get out of their 24 month contract? Everyone would be paying a lot more than they do now...
