Carphone Warehouse overcharged me and don't want to solve the problem
Options
I placed an order for Huawei P9 Lite on Nov 24 at a price of 179.99 pounds. I got the confirmation email which showed the price is also 179.99 pounds. On Nov 25, I received the headset and started using it. Then on Nov 27, my bank account was updated and showed that I had been charged 249.99 pounds for this headset, which is an overcharge of 70 pounds.
I then called 0800 049 6250 several times. Each time the service staffs kept me waiting for at least 10 minutes without giving me any resolution. At last, one of the staffs gave me an email address. I wrote an email to the address described my issue with evidence ( the confirmation email as well as the my bank account showing the fact that Carphone overcharged me at 249.99 pounds).
It has been two months and no one has contact me to solve the problem. When I try to call them. The service staff keeps me waiting again!
Can anyone give me an advice? Shall I sue them to ask my money back?

Don't play their games.
Send a LBA and gtive them 7 days to pay the difference or you will issue legal procedings without delay, also adding statutory interest, court fees and incidental costs. It's the only language they understand. If they don't pay up in, say, 10 days, issue a legal claim over the internet.
Don't accept anything less than they owe or any procrastination.0 -
also contact your bank with the evidence. they may or will refund.0

Thank you!
The only problem is that they never respond to my email. I don't even think that the email address they gave me is the right one.0 -
It doesn't matter or surprise me that they don't respond - and they don't need to unless YOU make them. Follow my advice and they will either respond to you or (should they ignore a LBA which is far less likely) they won't ignore the court. Should they ignore the court, you win. You are making problems and they are laughing.0
