Upgrade for Samsung S4?
My trusty Samsung is on its last legs, its time to look at replacements.
I would like a more top of the range phone but I hate the prices! I have in my mind I am comfortable paying £35 tops. I have gotten used to pauing £15 I guess haha.
I would use a fair bit of data so would need 3-4gb at least in a tariff.
The new phones come with such miserly data allowances, despicable really!
Any suggestions?

I have just got the Samsung s7 from mobiles.co.uk on an o2 contract.
It's £50 upfront for the phone and then £26.50 a month for 3gb of data and unlimited mins and texts. That was the best deal I could find for the Samsung s7.
I have sold my old iPhone 5s for £100 cash so that paid for the upfront fee.0 -
I trust you purchased via a cashback site, otherwise it definitely wasn't the best deal available.0

Mobile Phones Direct are offering a refurbished Samsung S6 on Talk Mobile with 2000 minutes, 5000 texts and 4Gb data for £15 a month with £88.99 upfront, £17.50 with £56.99 upfront or £20 a month with £26.99 upfront.
I've used Talk Mobile in the past and the OH is with them now and we've had no problems with them. Plus, for the last 8-10 years, I've always gone for a refurb phone, (either with e2save, mobiles.co.uk or the last one was a direct upgrade with EE) as all it means is they were sent out but returned unused. They are always indistinguishable from a brand new phone and always cheaper!
Both Quidco and Topcashback are currently paying £30+ too.0 -
Mobile Phones Direct are also offering the Samsung S7 in gold or white exactly as above, but with £174.99, £142.99 or £112.99 upfront.0

I got a new S6 from Voda for £19 per month. Unl Min, Unl TXT and 3GB data.
Beware the handset was locked though. My first ever locked contract phone from Voda for many years.
They tried to tell me they have always been locked. Really i have all my old handsets and not one of them is locked.
I have the S4 not locked, wifes got the S4 mini again not locked. Little one had the Sony again not locked.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
