Carphone Warehouse - making inaccurate claims?
I'm one of those people who spends too much on mobile phones and have been with the same provider for a decade - but I've been concerned by two recent incidents. I would appreciate thoughts on whether the advice I've been given is accurate / fair. I'm with carphone warehouse. My contract is up next month and I got a phone…

Pay As You Go and HTC Desire
Hi Sorry for another HTC Desire thread, but I have not been able to find this question answered anywhere. If I buy an unlocked, sim-free HTC Desire, will I be able to use my current T-Mobile Pay As You Go sim card with it? I would not like to shell out £350+ on the phone, only to find that my sim card won't work and have…

Query about HTC Desire from Mobile Phones Direct
They seem to be the only retailer with stock at the moment. However their deals aren't the greatest. But they are offering the Desire for free on an 18 month contract with 300 mins, unlimited texts but no internet. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but surely I can either: a) Phone up and attempt to haggle to get the 3g, which…

Vodafone Mobile Broadband - promotional deal problem. help!
I am hoping someone on here can offer me some sound advice. I know there are a lot of Vodafone customers/ex-customers on here, as well, I believe, as some representatives from Vodafone. In January 2009 Vodafone customers were offered their £15-a-month 3GB mobile broadband package (on an 18-month contract) for £7.50 a…

Charged for receiving picture message on 3
Sorry me again. I'm having a mobile phone queries day. Just checked my 3 monthly bill and I've been charged 25p for a picture message. I haven't sent any pictures but a friend sent me one, so I'm assuming it costs 25p to receive a picture text? That seems a bit steep when I didn't ask for it. Is this right?

Orange PAYG - must I top up regularly?
I have an old phone on Orange PAYG that I keep for emergencies (like a flat battery on my main phone while travelling). I was under the impression that I only had to make or receive a call or text on it once every couple of months, so I send it a text from my other (contract) phone. I've just read on another thread that…

What right do i have?
I previously held T mobile contracts lines(2 of them) for years. Because of better deals other network were offering, i told them i'm moving but wanted to keep my numbers on a PAYG. They were playing games with me. I then cancelled my direct debit. For about 2 months, i discovered that, i cannot even receive calls on the…

Wildfire vs Desire
Hi, I'm struggling to decide between the two. I've been hanging off and waiting to get the Desire and now I've seen the Wildfire I'm wondering about it. Other than there is a difference in size, are there any major differences? My husband has the Desire and I really like it, I just wonder if I'd be better with the slightly…

Can I get 3 to change my IPhone deal.
I have been with 3 for some years and when I said I was leaving in April I was offered an IPhone deal which was £99.00 for the phone, 24 months contract 700 Mix and Match. Unlimited Internet, 300 three to three minutes etc. for £27.00 per month. When the phone came I was still unsure and so I rang them and they offered me…

T-Mobile have done me over can I do owt?
Hello, I have just tried to change from T-Mobile PAYG to Vodaphone monthly sim only contract, keeping my existing number. Being a complete ignoramus in these matters I was unaware I would need to unlock my Motorola W375 phone (old but I love it) until I had gone thru the entire process (obtained a PAC from T-Mobile, bought…

Old folks have let Voda PAYG expire
So elderly relatives only want their mobi for emergencies while on holiday. Unsurprisingly they've fallen foul of Voda's T&C regarding no billable use for 90 days and the SIM has been cancelled and PAYG credit snaffled up. Just wondering what peeps think is the best approach to Voda customer services, to at least get the…

Port from Orange through third party to Orange?
I think the answer to this is no - but thought I'd double check. I've currently got my phone with Orange, I'm looking to get a new deal and have discovered I can get a better deal (still with Orange) by shopping around. I've asked Orange but they can't beat it. Anyway, I'd really like to keep my number - can I do it? Or…

I have been with 3 for 4 and a half years, I have 2 contracts with them (mine and my daughter's) and I am due my upgrade. I currently have a £18 per month deal - 300 minutes, 1GB internet, unlimited 3 to 3, unlimited texts and a pretty rubbish phone (LG Viewty). I really like the Desire but the best they could offer me for…

Blackberry and MSE?
Hi all, A very quick question - have been debating getting a Blackberry Bold 9700 and just wondered if anyone has one, do you get the full functionality when using MSE and is it easy to use online? Am thinking it may be a good idea to use the phone rather than my work's internet ;)
