The 0709 mobile phone scam
This is a scam operating on uk Mobile Phones. A Missed Call comes up. The number is something like 0709 020 3840. The last numbers may vary but certainly the first numbers will remain the same. If you call this number back, you will be charged anything up to a ridiculous £50 per minute. People have complained about their…

Voda Contacts now 9m before tariff Downgrade
Apparently for all Voda contacts connected starting 2006, tariff downgrade is not permitted for the first 9 months rather than 6. OSPS are already applying this as conections will not happen till Tuesday - this ruins my plan to conect on a high tariff with lots of cashback and then downgrade at M6 :-( . If only I had got…

Mobile Contract Cost Calculator - Find out YOUR cost based on the mins & txts YOU use
I've been looking at various new deals for mobile phones, it's easy to see how much they cost each month, how many free mins you get, how many free texts, and you can compare them. But what if you go over your free minutes? what if you aren't using all of them? I knocked together a pretty crude spreadsheet which helped me…
