Hi,
This is my first post so forgive me if you have discussed similar to this before!
My girlfriend is an Air Hostess for Virgin and she presently has a PAYG Vodaphone which is costing approx £30 per month for what I consider to be light use. Because of her job she sends around 30 overseas texts per month form overseas and another 120 per month in the UK. She also needs up to 200m mins per month talktime for UK use.
I have been told that O2 may be the only provider that deducts more than one of your included texts when using overseas rather than charging for separately on top of your monthly contract costs however I have found it difficulty to confirm this either on the web or in the stores.
Does anyone know any different or can suggest a good deal that might be available right now on either PAYG or contract? The only other consideration is that I am on Vodaphone so she needs a X network inclusive mins deal as she calls me the most!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Hi,
I have a tariff with O2 which I took out with mobileshop.com on-line. It is a cash-back deal which included a free phone. You can find details of a similar deal here:-
http://www.mobileshop.com/mobile-phones/o2/contract-mobile-phones/nokia-6030.php/PNEWO260300003
My deal was the same except at the time they were giving a slightly better phone (Nokia 3120) free for 12 months. In all other ways the minutes and text allowances are the same.
This O2 contract allows me to send text messages from abroad when I am roaming. To send a text from abroad uses up four text messages from your plan allowance. This seems quite good to me as I would never use up my full allowance whilst at hope anyway.
Hope this helps.
