Siemens CL75

I have a problem with a Siemens CL 75 which i bought from Virgin this week, if i put a virgin sim in it it comes up

SIM MEP lock failed and wont work just sos calls
But it will work with a Orange sim card, any idea what the problem is.

Also can these be unlocked remotely, i want to use a o2 sim.

quickest way of rectifying this is to phone up virgin on 789. it costs 10p for as long as you are on (not per minute). virgins cust services are excellent and will fix the prob while you are on the phone to them. it sounds like its sim locked to orange but i dont understand that if you only bought it this week direct from virgin? just phone 789 and the'll sort it straight away for you. this phone can be remotely unlocked (code) if on voda but not sure on virgin, it should be. if not just take it down the market/ind. shop and should do it for a fiver.

If it's locked to Virgin, they will unlock your phone for free after you've put £30 credit on it.

sorry i misread there. you cant phone 789 can you lol the sim wont work. its 0845 6000 789
