You just text as usual with the home phone number including the area code.

    (I've just tried it. :)

Yes, BT will do a bit of speech synthesis with it so the recipient can hear it being spoken. Not sure what happens if they're out, does it keep trying at regular intervals?

It must do I think. I knew it was my text so I put the phone down immediately and didn't listen to the message. The phone rang again 15 minutes later with the same message and the option to accept or ignore it.

Simply, text2 your greeting message to a landline number and insert the text code at the point you want to play your chosen jingle...
    • Text *Merryxmas# for We wish you a Merry Christmas
    • Text *Jinglebells# for Jingle Bells
    • Text *Newyear# for Auld Lang Syne
    Happy Texting!

I didn't know you could do that! Mobile mad son obviously doesn't know either.

Is it just a Xmas thing? Or is there other non- Xmas tunes at other times too?

    Off to play........ :rotfl:

    Thanks guys.
