I have a contract with Vodafone which I took out at a shop. Does anyone know if I can negotiate knew deal over the phone, quoting internet deals or do I have to return to the shop? The deal I have suits me, but the shop seems very reluctant to do any deals for phones.
Thanks.
if i had known then what i know now

  • Hi there yes you can, Ring up the vodafone number on your bill and ask for the retentions dept, This is what I have done several times, I now receive 175 mins anytime anynet and 200 texts and as this was about 3 months ago their free latest phone, W800i for £13.50, Admitatley the offered bad deals to start and I said forget it and they rang me several times each time with better deals,

    Good luck

Vodafone told me repeatedly that they no longer do very good deals. They didn't budge with me, even when i asked for my PAC code. 3 months previously they offered me 40% off line rental and a phone. I thought I would hold out for a better offer. Oooops!
  • you can get throught to Voda CS free from your contract phone by calling 191. speak to the cancellation department (like what kai666 did, ask for PAC). they should usually give you a fairly good deal. however, this depend on your past 3 month spending, and depend on their performance of the month (if they still need few to hit the target and it's towards to the end of the month then they will do anything to get you).

alternatively, you can get a PAC number and go for one of the online deals and save money! :D
