Car Seat Recommendations
Hi all, My little boy is 2.5 months old, and already weighs 18lbs!! I now have to consider the next car seat to buy him as it won't be long before he is too big for the group 0 and group 0+ seats we have, plus it's getting very heavy lifting the seat in and out of the car. Ideally I would love a car seat that is…

Recycling a car seat
Not sure where to post this, but I hope a BG can move it if necessary. We were given our niece's old carseat (unsolicited) for our son, but I'm not comfortable using it as the model was retired in 2001 and I have read that it's not recommended to use car seats over 6 years old anyway. He does already have this size of car…

How do I manage this situation?
Not sure what to do about my dilemma - its a long story to where I am today but to try to be as concise as I can. When my DD1 in her teens, she started "going out" with a local lad of the same age - his family are very well off - father has his own business, mum (who has never worked) is a lady who lunches, she has a…

What if he says no?
Hi all, I suspect the question I am asking at the end of this is one that many people think about too. I am thinking about proposing to my boyfriend. We have been together for four years and lived together for one. The problem is that his parents don't know that he is gay and there are some potential Indian cultural…

Does you husband still go out with his mates?
When I met my hub he was 31 and had been single for about 7 years. He was in the habit of meeting up with his friends (all male) at one of their houses every Friday night and playing the board game risk or cards until 2 am. He's going to be 47 in a few months time, and over the years we've moved in together, got married,…

What to do with used buggy?
I have a pushchair/pram that we no longer need and wondered what to do with it. I don't feel comfortable putting it on ebay or selling it as it's been pretty well used over the three years we have had it. Do charity shops take them or do they need to be pristine? I wondered about Freecycle but I am getting fed up of people…

Live with Ex & child - Help!!
Hi all, I'm not sure whether a similar thread exists (I searched but couldn't see one!) I have a relatively complicated relationship break up situation (aren't they all!) that I'd really appreciate some advice with. My ex finished our relationship in late November 2010. We have a son who turned 2 in Dec 2010, and as I'm…
