basically dd has outgrown her toddler bed and i won a white solid wood bedframe on ebay last night for bargin price of £16.99 and could tell from pics it would need a coat of paint to freshen it up. Its a gorgeous bed but definately needs the coat of paint. I want to try and get on with it this week while shes at school and get it sorted and up asap as my parents are buying her a mattress.
I know i'd need to sand it slightly to get the paint to take but what paint would be best. I dont want a shiny gloss finish lol! Cant wait to get it set up for her though, its totally gorgeous and i cant believe i won it for that price!!

Hi
yes sand it lightly then put on two coats of primer. I then use an oil based egg shell paint in either white or cream. Put it on with a brush and mini roller to give a smooth finish.0 -
