Just curious really, but are the make up sales ladies in the likes of Boots or Debenhams on a set wage or do they get commission on what they sell?
Anyone know?

Depends who they work for. Some companies will be a set wage, others wage and commission, but not a very high commission, 2-5% of total sales and that sometimes split between however many girls there are on the counter. There are also other sales incentives, bit like a rewards point system where the girls can cash in their points for good sales for items in a catalogue, but the points take a long time to collect.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
