how come my car insurance claim is taking so long?
I got hit by another car in may 2010. It was in a tesco car park. There was a stationary car at the side of the road and as I drove past it pulled into the side of my car without indicating. They are saying its my fault, but the traffic using the road should have right of way. Strangely their diagram is the same as mine.…

car insurance quotes - not very competitive!
I am currently with Direct Line, have been with them for 14 years. Thought I'd try comparethemarket to see if I can get a better deal this time but the cheapest it finds is £10 more than Direct Line are offering me. Quite surprised, last year I had to haggle with Direct Line as I was going to switch to a cheaper one.

Insurance quotes and credit searches
As for many people, I've been searching for the best car insurance deal and looking at quotes for several cars that I might be interested in buying. My car has been involved in a front and back end crash, and I've been told it's a total loss. A few on there have done the…

For the first time, I'm looking to get travel insurance. I'm going to Crete, Greece, and I'm 21. But - I have plenty of medical conditions. Do I need to declare every single one? Too Old to Travel
Why is it that though we are now expected to be healthy enough to work on indefinitely when it comes to travel insurance anyone over 65 finds that either companies won't insure them or the amount charged is a rip-off. In the last week I've been given quotes of up to nearly £200 just because I'm 66, the cheapest I've found…

Insurance Probably Voided - What Now?
Thank you everyone who responded to my last thread. In brief, I made a stupid mistake when applying for car insurance on behalf of my partner and applied for a quote that didn't disclose an IN10 he gained in 2008. It was a genuine mistake on my part, for not checking with him before I went ahead that I'd picked the right…
