Electrician help needed please
Hello I'm looking for advice about electrics, please. I'm worried about the electrics in my Mum's house. Everything is potentially original to the house (35-40 years old) except for the dimmer switches in the bedrooms which were added by my Mum 28 years ago. One of these no longer works and another is temperamental (it…

Hi all, We are currently renting a small flat, which includes our own personal hall/porch and stairway. Wasps coming in!
Woke early, opened living room and kitchen windows to get some air in, went to the loo and came out to find about six wasps in the place. Obviously looking for some heat as they flew around the hall lights! Aaargh. Cue bursts of wasp spray. Hate this time of year. Last year I had about 20 of them buzzing round the…

Roller blind recess fitting brackets
My new blind has come and it has the universal recess brackets for top mount or side mount fitment. Fridge smells - what to use to make it smell better
Does anyone have any tips on what I should put in my fridge to make it smell nice. It smells really bad at the moment when I open the door. It fills the air and lingers for quite some time. Its a combination of being away, of Camembert, sour milk, garlic, chopped onions and a few things that have gone off lol! Thanks a lot.
