There's no official schemes - there's nothing stopping a company inflating their prices, then discounting those prices to make them appear more attractive by offering scrappage of your old windows. Get quotes from local fitters who will just give you a no-nonsense no-pressure quote without the distractions of sales, manager authorised discounts, recycling schemes, grants, scrappage, etc.0

I'd be willing to bet the difference in price between what you pay after scrappage, and what a local reputable supplier quotes that this scheme won't overall save you money. Inflate the price and then offer some money back for the old windows but less than you've bumped it up by - result higher profit.Adventure before Dementia!0
