Garden trimmer
We bought the trimmer from aldi in april thinking it would twist in the middle of the unit so we could cut the grass on the edge vertical and horizontal so pretty much like the old 1 did(think it was a balck and decker). ut it doesnt let you do that and the plastic line breaks 2 or 3 times when you use it. My question is…

How to get rid of built in wardrobe?
Hi :) We have a build in wardrobe, which I've just disassembled. Most of the parts are there and the condition is fair (would potentially need some additional work if someone were to reconstruct). I could fit most of it in my car - but a couple of the large sliding door, especially the one which is a mirror would not fit…

Carpet Cleaning Liquid
I have borrowed a friend's VAX carpet washing machine to freshen up some carpets. (no surprise there really) The lady who leant it to me, suggested I buy 1001 3 in 1 cleaning solution and use that, as per instructions. I have tried this, but to be perfectly honest I can't really see too much of a difference. Which liquid…

New boiler needed - which type?
The existing boiler, the standard type with tanks, has stopped igniting. The boiler engineer took one look and said it needed replacing and quoted for a combi. Perhaps it is repairable but the boiler is around 30 years old so I accept that I've had a good run and it may well be time to bite the bullet. My question - it's a…

After 4.5 years of faithful service, this particular toilet seat needs replacing and I'm looking for a replacement but they are no longer in stock at B&Q, unsurprisingly.
