Pull out kitchen tap?

I have a kitchen tap which has a pull out spray hose, this has developed a leek.Can someone please tell me which kind of washer I need (I think it is a hard plastic one) and where I could buy one? Thank you

    Dismantle the tap/hose, remove the washer, take old washer to a plumbers' merchants and say 'I'd like one of these please'.
    Much easier than trying to describe a washer, of which there are dozens.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    Thanks Macman, but the plumber already did this and he couldn't find one to fit!!! Apparently it should be plastic 1/2 inch one that seems very difficult to find.

    Try posting a picture on here! Maybe I, or one of the other kitchen or plumbing types may be able to identify it and be able to tell you the manufacturer or wholesaler who should be able to supply you with the part.

    We have got a tap like that ours leaks but it is not a problem with the washer it is a design fault when you pull it out and use it the water runs down the hose into the cupboard.
