Toilet leaking from behind
I have a closed coupled toilet which was fitted around 8 years ago. When someone sits on the pan it drips from behind the pan. The tank sits on the pan and when someone heavy sits on the pan it moves away from the tank hence the drip. Otherwise it does not drip. I think there is a doughnut fitted to these type of toilets.…

Why is my freezer wet on the outside?
Have a small freezer in the cellar/basement. After a few days there is condensation on the outside on the door and the side panels. Also there is a small pool of water on top. I assume it is due to condensation? The food inside is fine. Is there anything that can be done?

supplier of "flush to floor" patio doors?
Does anyone know of any suppliers of those patio doors that have no bottom rim (as is usual with UPVC). I think that they're usually aluminium, but could be wrong there I'm just trying to get a budget idea together about refurb costs of the property we're buying, and it would be really useful to find out if they're going…

Repair chipped tile trim
We have tile trim around the front edge of the window sill. Someone has pulled the blind too fast and it has chipped a small amount of trim off right in the centre. Are we going to have to take off the surrounding tiles to repair it do you think? Could you slice off the front edge of the trim and grout the whole length?

HELP! What have I done to my toilet?
I am constantly at war with limescale down the loo. We are in a hard water area and this is not helped by my partner's reluctance to flush the loo (official reason is that he is helping the planet, the truth is he is completely absent minded - he leaves drawers and cupboards open, forgets to put things back where they were…
