Repair chipped tile trim

We have tile trim around the front edge of the window sill. Someone has pulled the blind too fast and it has chipped a small amount of trim off right in the centre. Are we going to have to take off the surrounding tiles to repair it do you think? Could you slice off the front edge of the trim and grout the whole length?

If it is the quadrant plastic tile trim, then it sits behind the tiles on one side. So to remove it you would need to remove the tiles. Any other repair would be a bodge and would probably look like one as well. it might be possible to cut the trim away and then replace with a new length of trim which has also had it's side cut away. Quite a fiddly job I would have thought.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I can't see how its possible to chip a plastic tile trim but if thats what you have and you need to remove it then you need a Fein Multimaster (or the Bosch version) and just chop the bit you can see off the bit you can't see thats hidden behind the tiles.
However, I suspect you me you have a ceramic trim. Depending on how conspicuous it is then fill the chipped section with grout. Alternatively you will need to replace that individual trim.

It is plastic. I don't know how it happened, but the blind has a bolt in the middle and I suspect that one of the children let the blind drop and it has taken a piece of teh trim out on the edge of the tiled sill. Will probably trim off all along the length and try and grout in a new piece. Thanks0
