Ive brought a floating shelf for my kitchen to put my cookery books on it says it takes 15kg before i put it up can i check that this will be suitable?:confused:

Washing Machine trips electric
Hope someone can help. I have a Hotpoint WMA58 that trips the electric when switched on unless the temp is set to 20 degrees. I believe the thermostat could be the problem, anyone had the same.

For the past year I've had separate cover for washing machine repairs ... this year it will cost £79 to renew. I havent had to use it so far (touch wood!) . The question is, is it worth this extra cost or would it be better covered under house insurance?
