hole in wall

Options
Hi

Whats the easiest way to fill in a hole in a wall? The wall is thin plasterboard (new build house) and the hole is about 1 inch diameter.

Many thanks

K

It's a difficult size. Get some filler and in a couple of stages fill the hole the old trick was to use a bit of newspaper behind to provide some thing to support the filler in the inital stages. Once that has dried put a final layer on then sand down.

Small piece of cardboard , on a piece of string,
Cardboard into hole, then pulled/held tight against back of board. Fill hole with polly filler.String held tight ( tied off on to something ??) till set.

Might seem overkill ??? but it would work.
