Being green has saved me lots of money
How has being green saved you lots of money. Having read "Save Cash and Save the Planet" http://www.amazon.co.uk/Collins-Save-Cash-Planet-Association/dp/000719420X/sr=1-1/qid=1170283080/ref=sr_1_1/202-7271754-2441446?ie=UTF8&s=books I really learnt how being green and saving money can really go hand in hand. Stylish Interia design using recycle products.
What have you done or can be done with our rubbish/junk to create stylish recycled interia products. Eg. My office is wood and sliver in design. Bio-D delivery costs
Hi all, I'm looking to switch from ECover to Bio-D (because the former is shipped from Belgium and Bio-D is UK based) but I'm rather startled to find that it can only be bought online and carries a £4 (or thereabouts) delivery fee which pretty much doubles the cost of the order. Has anyone come across a site which doesn't…

Tesco Recycling Machines?
I made a call to Tesco head office late last year to ask when their new recycling machines would be installed at stores. This much vaunted plan in 2006 calls for stores (although not all of them) to be fitted with machines to crush and recycle packaging and waste. Has anyone seen hide or hair of one anywhere or have any…

Chemical Free Cleaning for health
Hi, I'm really interested in giving up all my normal cleaning products and trying to use only chemical free ones. I suffer from M.E. and have heard that this could improve my health. Ethical shopping versus economy
I was faced with two ethical dilemmas today in my quick whizz round Sainsburys. I'm sure there were more but these were the ones that had me standing by the shelf debating with self and husband. Mushrooms were on the list and they were about 50 pence per kilo cheaper if I bought them ready packed in a large plastic…

When you do your shopping list, rather than using a note pad, use an old cereal box, just cut it up into handy sized bits then you have free shopping list pad. Then of course when you return from your shop you put the list into recycling :)
