Easyjet refusing to refund cost of alternative flights to return to UK following flight cancellation
Easyjet left my octogenarian parents stranded in Gran Canaria. Flight 8692 to LGW on 25th March was cancelled. When they got to Las Palma airport the Easyjet rep said, 'sorry, we cannot help you' and closed the door. My parents paid 988 Euros to be flown to STN with another airline plus a sterling exchange fee and coach…

Motor insurance for Ireland
I'm planning a trip to Ireland to do some seasonal work for a friend. I know I will still get basic third party motor insurance cover but I would prefer this to be upgraded to comprehensive cover as I will be there a few weeks. My insurance company have quoted me over £130 which seems exorbitant as I've already paid for…

Car hire - being chased for excess charges re overseas hire
Not sure if this is the right place to post this - seemed the best fit within the forums. In Dec 19 I travelled to another country and hired a car through a global car hire company. It got damaged in a carpark (minor paintwork/panel damage to a small section of the car, nothing serious but enough to need a localised panel…

Revolut cash card
Just few notes to warn those considering acquiring one: * Be warned that buying a Revolut card is about the same as booking a flight on Ryanair - upgrade options are very large and obvious, standard options are small and discreet. * VERY EASY to select upgrade by mistake @ £6.99/mth (offers lots of benefits, but none that…

After looking on MSE I think both the cards that I have, Nationwide FlexPlus debit card and Santander Zero credit card (balance always paid in full) are good value when abroad. For those much better than me with comparisons is one better than the other? Many thanks.

British Airways Vouchers - Did you get a choice?
When your BA flight was cancelled, did they offer you a Choice of voucher or refund? I am absolutely certain they didn't offer a choice and now they say they can't/won't exchange the voucher for cash, which they say was my choice. I am livid that they are lying to me. Is anyone else struggling with this and if so is there…

CDW on carhire
Hi folks, I have hired from Easirent on a number of occasions over the last couple of years. I am aware, based on the rules, that they're not that well thought of, and I have had a couple of weird experiences (late car arrival, refusing legit documents, having to be transferred between depots). But... they are…

Airlines
Could anyone explain why airlines will not refund the difference, after you've paid extra to go on early morning flight, and paid for early return flight. For the airline to cancel that one, then put you on a much later flight, both ways. Then say that the policy of the airline is they don't do refunds

Easy Jet - can you change your flight free of charge and bring it forward?
I'm wondering - can I change our flights and bring them forward by 2 weeks free of charge?
