'What happens if an energy company fails to comply with an order given by the Ombudsman?'
I am currently trying to find out what happens when the energy ombudsman rules in your favour but the company does not comply with the ruling. The energy company in question is Utilita and the ruling is due to incorrect billing prepared by Eversmart when we were moved to Utilita as supplier of last resort in September…

Pre payment meter credit.
My partner had a key payment meter with Bulb In his rented property which had to be paid with cash. During Covid we changed to a new supplier who could be paid through an app. Bulb sent statements for each month he was with them showing clearly that he had paid more into the meter than the electricity he had used. This…

Spark Energy Refusing To Pay Credit
I'm finding this slightly amusing, as when you owe an energy company money. Usually there is a lot great communication from them and often bailiffs involved. Here is a short bit of the history: I moved into the property around September 2017, its an incredibly tiny 2 bedroom (2 box rooms which wont even fit a full size…

Please help me get a credit meter!
I've just bought a house with a prepayment meter supplied by Utilita. I've called to register with them and asked to be changed to a credit meter. They said their policy is that you need to wait 3 months to change so they know how much to set the direct debit for. This seems ridiculous to me as surely they can base it on…
