'What happens if an energy company fails to comply with an order given by the Ombudsman?'

I am currently trying to find out what happens when the energy ombudsman rules in your favour but the company does not comply with the ruling. The energy company in question is Utilita and the ruling is due to incorrect billing prepared by Eversmart when we were moved to Utilita as supplier of last resort in September 2018. Uitilita have failed to comply with the ombudsman ruling for over two months despite the case being escalated by the ombudsman on our behalf. What can be done?

Go back to the Ombudsman, or complain about the Ombudsman or make a court claim against Utilita, in that order.0
