Boiler Warranty

Hope this question is asked in the right place
Long story cut short-

I am currently on oil and want to convert over to gas. I have finally had the Gas connection terminated at my property and the next step is to get amy combi condensing boiler fitted - (by a gas safe technician). I bought the boiler - brand new - from screwfix a couple of years ago on a super duper deal, and been stored ever since. My question is when i get the boiler installed and the boiler is registered for warranty. Will the warranty go from the installation date although the boiler was bought two to three years ago. The answer might be obvious but thought it would be worth the ask

It is usually from date of install.

But refer to your MFG site?
