Free New Boiler conundrum.
Two pensioner couple friends have just had new boilers fitted.
My wife says neither couple are on any kind of benefit. Each pensioner only has their Old age pension.
I have told my wife that someone in each household must be on some sort of benefit i.e. Pension Credit, otherwise they wouldn't be eligible for a free boiler
She insists that no-one is getting any kind of benefit.
Is it possible to get a free boiler without being on benefits?
Would low household income and no benefits qualify?
