Am I missing something here? Scottish Power's 1 yr fixed deal have dual fuel standing charges of 19.18p However, for 2 year fixed these rise to 36.10p & 34.17p So if I sign up for 2 years, I immediately start paying a substantially higher standing charge than if I went for 1 year?
