Ovo - doesn't appear in searches - why?

I have used the Cheap Energy Club in the past to select my energy supplier. My fixed price deal is about to expire. The search does not give me any deals from my current supplier (Ovo), even when I select current supplier.
Deal offered by Ovo directly appears comparable to best from search, but Ovo doesn't appear at all. I have tried a couple of other utility search sites and none show an Ovo tariff.

Why? Is there something about Ovo I should be concerned about?

Ovo appear on uSwitch for me - way down the list at £500+ more per year than my current suppliers.

It's on there for me too but way down at £349 more than my current provider. Maybe you need to look for something cheaper.

It's in the Citizen's Advice search for me, cheapest Ovo tariff is £320 more than the cheapest one from another supplier.

Let us look at the facts.

Others have no difficulty in fiunding Ovo on the CEC or indeed other comparison sites.

You have made your third post on MSE forums using this account. Normally thats isn't an issue nyt you joined up with this account over 10 years ago, and last posted almost 9 years ago.

Despite your post making alarming ststements, and first post in almost 9 years as I said, you didn't hang around for any response

You are only looking at page 1 of the search results...

I have also just found that the 'my supplier' button doesn't work. It tells me there are none to show which is nonsense.

Okay, more looking shows that CEC doesn't seem to show your own supplier in the list. I just tried uSwitch and that does so why not try that one. Just make sure you look at the options on the left of the page to choose to show all options rather than just the ones it wants to show you.

I've just logged into my CEC account

    Under Your Energy Supply

the first question it ask "Tell Us Your Current Energy Supplier"

in the drop down list between "Outfox The Market" and "People's Energy" is "OVO Energy"

Ovo are displayed for me, when I set Ovo as my current supplier in the CEC.
This result is filtered to only show 'my current supplier' only for conciseness. Further down the list, it also dispays Spark Energy tariffs too, presumably as they are now owned by Ovo.
Otherwise, you may need to press "See more results" several times to get down to the Ovo tariffs

<presume JJ Egan did search CEC and find it.>

Yes as your post said does not appear in searches , and i found that rather odd for Ovo .
So i did a simple CEC update on my tariff and looked at Ovo in the results .One hour after your post .
