Comfort plus white meter heating from Scottish power
I tried to switch last year but Scottish Power stopped the switch. They advised me that the only way I can switch is if I change to 1 meter or change my heating system as they control the input to the heating. Is this correct? I have asked what their cheapest option was. I currently pay £100 pm. Their best deal was £99.56!

BG smart meters
I have feeling I heard Martin Lewis say that there is a problem with being able to change provider if BG smart meters fitted. Can anyone confirm or reject that. Like a lot of people, coming to end of collective rate, so need to look at new provider.

Complaining About Boiler Flue Installed Years Ago?
Hi About 4-5 year ago, I got a new boiler flue installed by a well known 'High Street name.' From memory it was an expensive job, cost about £1250 to £1500, thankfully covered by insurance. Anyway, the flue has just been replaced as part of a new boiler install. The outer flue was full of water, and the engineer said it…

EnergyHelpline Collective
So, EnergyHelpline's collective is out, and as hinted to by last week's "HotUKDeals" post, EDF won the 1 year fix. It isn't that great a deal though (for me at least) - neither me or my mum in a different region are any cheaper than our recent fixes in the last 2 weeks.

The People's Energy Company
The People's Energy Company will supply Gas and Electricity with 75% of the profits returned to customers. An article was in the paper recently and I have been considering this as an option in view of all the announcements of price rises and wondered about others views? Thanks in advance.

Avro energy user feedback?
Has anyone any experience of Avro? They come out one of the best for me on a comparision. Similar price to a Scottish power fix but no exit fee. I'm currently with BG and my fix ends end of Feb. Slightly nervous about these lesser known companies.

Storage heaters - most efficient/cost effective
Hello I'm new to the site and would really apprecate some help with choosing the right storage heaters - it's difficult to find advice that isn't from suppliers.
