Warm Home Discount Question.....
As someone who is entitled to the WHD i was hoping someone could help. I usually go for a fixed duel fuel deal with a supplier who pays this scheme but this time electricity with Iresa and gas with Scottish Power works out cheaper. Will i be able to get the WHD from SP for just a gas tariff? Hope this makes sense.

How long do storage heaters take to charge?
I am on E7 and the other day I had the lounge storage heater (Heatstore HSXC24N) on charging for 5 rather than the usual 7 hours. To my surprise, the following day we couldn't tell the difference. I am now wondering how many hours it actually takes for the heater to charge. Reducing that to 5, 3 or 2 hours could save…

MSE Cheap Energy Club - switch did not go through
I tried to switch suppliers in October using Cheap Energy Club. The switch did not go through. Cheap Energy Club blame Sainsburys but Sainsburys tell me that they have no record of Cheap Energy Club ever putting the switch through. I have lost out on the cheap deal I thought I had signed up for which is now no longer…

Hi, I would like to clear up some confusion about the switching process as I have been given conflicting information. I am currently on the BG collective fix ending on 28th Feb. I have started my switches to separate suppliers for Gas and Elec. Both are due to be completed after 28th Feb (most likely 2nd week of March). My…

Switching Timelimits?
Is there a time limit which utility companies should switch your supply by? I submitted by application 29/12, still waiting for Gas although Electricity has switched (I was dual fuel before and now). When I contacted Eon my current supplier they blamed the "IGT". (I think that was the initials). Just worried I'm losing my…

Which collective switches are yet to come?
Sorry, I signed up to several and kind of lost track of them now. I know the MSE one didn't come up with anything for England and have had a few others now which haven't beaten my current arrangement. The 'bigcollectiveswitch' contacted me today (EnergyHelpline) and no savings there. I think the iChoosr one was yesterday…

LOKA Energy
Has anyone ever had dealings with this company? We rent a 1 bed flat and LOKA have a standard (£30) monthly fee for what they state is the maintenance of the boiler and then charge for usage after that. Would I be correct in assuming the standard charge should be covered by the property owner and as the tenants we would…

Flow Energy - "For Sale"
Just came across this news on the Which? website. I doubt it will have any adverse effect on current Flow Energy customers. "Feb 2017: Flow Energy is for sale. Its parent company, Flowgroup, said that although the business is growing, pressure from volatility in wholesale market prices and trying to compete with new energy…

New EDF collective fix tariff "Simply Fixed February 2018"
Hi, I signed up for this tariff yesterday lunch time and received a welcome email from EDF about 5 hours later. The only problem is that the email only mentions switching my electricity to them and this tariff is for dual fuel. Is this normal for them to only deal with one fuel at a time and will I get another email about…

Electric Prices for Business
Trying to sort out the next business fixed price electricity contract and the cheapest new fixed price deal currently being offered is a 19% increase from the previous deal. I go direct to suppliers for their price quotes as well as using energy comparison sites on the web. Is anyone else seeing this level of increase.
