Complaining About Boiler Flue Installed Years Ago?

Hi
About 4-5 year ago, I got a new boiler flue installed by a well known 'High Street name.' From memory it was an expensive job, cost about £1250 to £1500, thankfully covered by insurance.
Anyway, the flue has just been replaced as part of a new boiler install. The outer flue was full of water, and the engineer said it 'wasn't good.'
Is there any point in complaining about it 4-5 years later, or am I really just wasting a phone call?
Thanks.
