Eon, worth switching for 2 years?
Currently pay £63 per month for dual fuel. Our current deal is estimating £65 per month going forward and after undergoing a reveiw on their website, the option to fix for one year would bring that down to £62 per month or I can fix for 2 years at £68 per month. I am happy to switch to paying £5 more per month for the next…

Electric Panel Wall Heaters
Hi Wonder if anyone can help. My son has just moved into a flat which has electric wall mounted heaters. Our problem is we don't know how to set them. There is a covered control panel on the front of the heater which holds a timer dial and a switch underneath. The switch operates-on,off & timer. My problem is how to…

I've been sacked by nPower as a customer - should I be concerned?
Hi to all - newbie user, so please go gentle with me! We've had a long term issue with our utility provider (nPower), which results from a breach of contract and a series of other issues. Long story short, this has been rattling on for about 18-20 months, I've reported them to the Energy Ombudsman (which remains…

Switching to cheaper tariffs with new supplier
I'm currently bound with eon in a fixed until April 2013 Dual Fuel account, with an £80 penalty if I leave them before 1st April. Probably a stupid question, but if I switch to another supplier with better tariffs using someone like Uswitch, does that count at leaving eon or switching from eon (is there a difference)?

EON - Fixed for 12 months billing query
We are currently with EON for Gas and Scottish Power for electric. I've done the comparison sites and the maths and it looks like it would be about cheapest with switch the Electric over to EON and go on their fixed for 12 months duel fuel tariff. My question is (and I can't find and answer on the EON website) if you go on…

Uswitch switching confirmation email doesn't contain house number...
Possibly a stupid question, but I just applied to switch my electricity through Uswitch but the confirmation email they've sent me doesn't have my house number on it. Is that normal, just to protect my information, or should I be concerned?

Switch and replace boiler at the same time?
I'd like to know if there are any smart options for switching supplier and getting a replacement boiler at the same time. I had heard on the grapevine that there are some schemes available that do this, but I've not found any details on the matter. Essentially, my boiler is on its last legs and I also need to consider…

Or have I made this up? I live in a maissonette and there are lights in the stairway.
