Scottish power want us to have new electric meter
We are not with Scottish Power, we are with EDF. We had a letter sent out saying SP urgently need to change our electricity meter as it is too old. As we are not with them, is this some kind of scam to get us to change to them ? Thanks.

EDF unable to charge for electricity usage
Changed to EDF dual fuel 12 months ago. I have not been charged for electricity since as EDF and my former supplier Scotish Power are in dispute about the electricity I used before switching. I have tried numerous times to enter meter readings online and it refuses to except them. I'm worried I will recieve a massive bill…

Sparks Energy rejecting energy supply transfer without a reason
Hello, we have moved in into a new rented property mid July and our contract included energy supply switch to Spark Energy, we called to cancel that but were too late (start of August). We managed to get British gas to reject transfer of gas to them, but electricity went through on 14 august. We have switched to EDF blue…

Npower & getting usage info so I can switch
We have been trying for a week now to check our gas usage, so we can evaluate a new deal before ALL the energy providers put their prices up. Very frustrated, called several times, systems appear to have been down all week, and despite being told that we would get a call-back, this hasn't happened. Now we've rung on a…

Switching to Credit Meter - delays
Hi there I moved to this flat in the middle of August and within the first few days I made some phone calls in order to switch from a prepaid meter to a credit meter for both gas and electricity. Thought of switching tariff with my supplier
E.ON experience. They told me my annual bill is £594. Said I should change to fixed monthly direct debit for the best deal, it would be £600 pa but with discounts and rewards would drop to £518 pa. Started to accept it and next screen said Monthly DD would be £54 ie £648 pa. Pulled out as you might guess. What's all that…

My Switching Experience
Hi, I went through the energyhelpline site and found it relatively painless. I spoke to a veryhelpful guy 'Ricky' on the phone. Providing I knew my rough annual consumption (KWh or £'s) and whether I wanted dual fuel, fixed or green, then it was quite simple. Or was mine just easy, I went for the EDF Energy Blue +Price…
