EDF unable to charge for electricity usage
Changed to EDF dual fuel 12 months ago. I have not been charged for electricity since as EDF and my former supplier Scotish Power are in dispute about the electricity I used before switching. I have tried numerous times to enter meter readings online and it refuses to except them.
I'm worried I will recieve a massive bill once the dispute is resolved. What do I do as the dispute is not my fault?

Keep reading your meter and get an idea of the value of electricity you are using. Save the money needed: preferably in a high-interest account.
You are right: you will eventually get a massive bill. Since it is not your fault they will give you time to pay, but may decide to collect the payments by installing a pre-payment meter.0 -

The EDF online system is not always great.
(I couldn't supply a gas meter reading for over a month shortly after I switched)
Give them a call and provide them with the meter reading. They should be able to produce you a bill, or otherwise explain why not

As long as you are putting the money in reserve, you are effectively receiving an interest free loan from EDF, so be happy. No free lunch, and no free laptop
