Options
Hi
I was all set to sign up to First Utility iSave fixed v4 2014 today - but have gone to FU site and it doesn't appear to be there.....they only appear to have 2 tariffs available - iSave v12 dual fuel and Smart as Standard v 4............
Anyone know for sure if it's gone now?
Thanks

For anyone interested - I phoned First Utility and they confirmed that they stopped the v4 2014 deal last night. They apparently may be bringing in another fixed deal but not until January.0

I went via Quidco to get £50 cashback. Filled in the application form and got three emails - 'Thanks for applying' 'Welcome to FU' and 'Your FU online account'.
Checked back on Thursday via the 'tracking tool' to see a message saying 'Some of the information is not quite right so we are unable to process ..' It said to call an 0845 numer or go back to the registration page. Note that I didn't receive an email about this.
Now Quidco have a rule that if a purchase is completed offline there is no cashback. So, I went back to the registration form. It looked OK to me and there were no error messages. I then emailed customer services via the Contact us page. This was at 14.45 Thursday. No reply yet (Friday evening).
So have I missed out and was this a ploy on their part to block the application until they withdrew the tarriff and/or to back out of the Quidco cashback?
Anyone else applied this week and had better luck?0 -
I applied last Saturday Oct 13th, and got a welcome email with tariff details today. So far so good :-)0

Called FU early today who said their fixed March 2014 ended 18/10/12 at 4pm. Any applications / switches made prior to this date would be processed which could take up to 4-5 weeks.
I switched on Monday from British Gas and recieved first email from FU today. There has been a delay in getting this email to people due to the high demand.
Hopefully the switch will be smooth as there are a number of negatives reviews on FU Customer Service...fingers x all works outs.0 -
Finally did it! After hours of searching, comparing, reading MSE....have switched to First Utility iSave v 12. Just hope that the prices don't hike too high after the first 3 months - but then I'll only have to do this all over again(!) lol!
Fingers crossed like MoneyPenny1 that they don't turn out to be too bad............if you don't see me ranting on here in 4-6 weeks then you know it's all OK and if they provide a brilliant service I'll let you know!:)0 -
I havent heard anything, switched on the 13th october using simply switch, i have tried tracking on fu website but nothing.0
