Scottish Power - Variable DD

Hi,

I'm trying to transfer duel fuel to the scottish power fixed rate and although its states in payment methods variable direct debit when I complete my details it only gives the option for fixed monthly direct debit payments! Is the only way to get the variable option to switch by telephone? I'm trying to switch online to get cashback!

What are you trying to do excatly?

You say you want a fixed tariff. That would usually be via fixed monthly direct debit payments, particularly if you wanted the cheapest.

Variable quarterly DD payments may be offered, but you may end up paying more.
  • PAYMENT METHODS

I'm sorry, but I'm still confused.
When I go to the Scottish Power website to apply, these are the payment options I see

sabrina_imogen you can pay variable quarterly Direct Debit on Standard prices only. If you want a fixed contract its only available if you pay monthly DD. Sorry about that. If you need any specific advice please e-mail onlinecomplaints@scottishpower.com Thanks David @ ScottishPower

Sorry to hijack with a petty question but I am currently switching to SP and when I signed up it only gave me the option amount of £93.22 per month. It is possible to change this to a round figure when we've switched?
