I pay by monthly direct debit, £130pm and still get a +ve balance at the end of the year. I've looked at the switching sites and have found I can save about £10pm, but here's the crux. If I…

Would doing this affect the meter timer so that it can't tell when the meter should switch from the day…

NPower gas useage seems a bit high!
We're with NPower and as 6 monthly bills are next to useless, I called to see what our current useage was and the cost, just to keep a check on it. We have a small 2 bedroom flat and our gas heating goes on in the evenings for a while (we're both out at work most of the day) and for a little while at the weekends, its only…

Both SIL and MIL's meters don't work, they've been getting free utilities!!
My (ex) mother in law's gas meter has been faulty for roughly 5/6 years. It's a topup card meter, so she has been getting 'free' gas for all this time. My (ex) sister in laws key electric meter is the same, but hers has 'only' been broken for 2 years. I'm just thinking....gawd how much are they gonna be in debt??! Will the…

Eon energy monitor and direct to computer
I have an Eon energy monitor, an Envir Current Cost type. I am running Windows 7, I have a VirginMedia supplied Netgear…

Hi all, I have just been onto Npower regarding my bills as I just cannot get my head around why I pay such a high d/d.Basically they can't figure it out either. Npower Energy Bonus Discount
I joined Npower last April as a duel fuel customer and was under the impression that you had to be 12 months as a customer before the Energy Bonus kicks in. 3 years ago I opened my front door to find a man replacing my electricity meter- Since then my storage heaters (I live in a housing assoc house) have been all over the place! they come on at 3am (not 12am), go off at 11am, come on again for an hour, then go off... This has been happening for years. Needless to say I've…

I just can't get my head around my gas/electricity bill
Right, we bought our first house in April last year - previously I've been in houseshares etc so I've never been that concerned with scrutinising the gas/electricity bill but obviously I now want to get a grip of things. We're with EON, have a very old back boiler, both work all day so are only in most nights and the odd…
