NPower gas useage seems a bit high!
We're with NPower and as 6 monthly bills are next to useless, I called to see what our current useage was and the cost, just to keep a check on it. We have a small 2 bedroom flat and our gas heating goes on in the evenings for a while (we're both out at work most of the day) and for a little while at the weekends, its only our hob thats gas (oven is electric) and we don't use that much hot water. I was told that our usage for the last couple of months totalled £203 just on gas (electric was £75), does this seem a bit high?
When i spoke to NPower around August time, they said we were such low users of gas, it was almost laughable (so much so that a £6.00 per month direct bedit was covering our gas payment) and, although I understand we're now using our heating as its winter, its certainly not on all day everyday and I wondered whether that seemed like quite a steep increase to anyone else? Apologies if not!
Thanks

Gas is measured in cubic metres or 100's of cubic feet, which are converted to kWh for billing.
Any discussion of whether usage is high needs to be based on actual meter readings - otherwise it is all onscured behind the mists of monthly DD payments.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. myn was £260, normaly half that. It jsut the cold and higher pricesDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
