E.On Refund
I switched from E.On to another supplier and my new supplier took over my supply from 29th December 2009. As I was in credit by £120 I rang E.On on 6th Jan 2010 to ask when they were going to issue my refund and was told it would take ten working days. I had heard nothing so rang again today to be told that they have not…

Scotish Power
Hi I have been with Scottish Power since April 2009. I was paying £15 a month, which then went to £38 and finally £75. Its a small 1 bed apartment (modern new build) with Economy Seven heating (no gas). We both work during the day and have the usual electronic gadgets but nothing serious. Our meter readings have been taken…

Scottish Power Screw Up?
Just contacted Scottish Power (current electricity supplier) to ask if I was on the best value tariff, to be told by the customer services agent that yes I am on the best value tariff. That's great I say! Then she mentions "mmmm, I do believe that we haven't been charging you correctly since March 2006". At this point I'm…

Electricity - too low
We have been in our current house about 3 years now. Was with B.Gas for both gas & elec at first. Gas was roughly £70 per month and Elec was about £20. We always gave meter readings in and always owed them for gas but were in credit with our electric. After about a year we swapped both gas & elec to N Power. They have read…

British Gas remove unit prices on Bills!
I have just noticed this on online bills (not sure if it applies to normal ones). BG have sneakily removed the unit prices for each KWH from the bills. Now it only shows meter reads, how many KWH used in the period and then the final amount. No breakdowns for first or last even. Sneaky...I have just sent off an email.

More economical to have heating switched on all time?
I have a gas boiler with a remote thermostat control on my landing. I used to have my heating set so that it would be heating the house from 5:30 - 8:30am and then 16:30 - 21:30 pm. As I had the remote thermostat set to high (at 22 degrees) the heating would be on constant as the heat in the house would take forever to get…

Suppliers response to the Feed In Tariff
Hi all I have posted this under the Gas and Electricity forum as I'm guessing that the representatives from Eon, npower etc view here more than the Green and Ethical forum. Basically, I am interested in hearing how you will implement the FIT - most is mandatory, but their is some potential flexibility in two parts (maybe…
