BG, maybe not so bad after all?
I used several of the switch web sites and was surprised that they gave differing results. I then noticed an article claiming U switch (and possibly others?) are biased in favour of those suppliers who give them biggest reward. I did my own sums and found BGas came out cheaper, see https://www.house.co.uk Please note: 2 x…

I used USwitch to change my gas and elecric supplier 3 months ago. The cheapest was NPower at 31.50 for elec and 33.00 for gas a month. Now they have changed monthly payments to 42.50 and 54.00. This seems huge increase in such a short time, especially when they had all my meter readings for last year before giving me…

If changing suppliers, don't miss your anniversary discount.
Just a word of warning if you are changing suppliers. It has just taken me since August to change from NPower for my gas and electric. It was actually changed on 26th October. First payment went out 26th November. I didn't realise it would take so long, or I would have waited until this month - my aniversary month to…
