My british gas electric bill
Hi all I pay £40 per month direct debit for my electric bill, which they put up without telling me from £25. My query is that I have received my statement and it is £149.37 in credit, can I ask for the money back and /or ask for my monthly payments to be lowered? thanx

Call the up with the current Meter readings and ask them for an amended bill. If your meter readings are lower than the 'Estimate' on the bill then ask them to return the DD payments to £25 until such a time as you feel yourself that they need to be raised. You can also ask for the balance of your credit to be returned to you either directly into your bank account or by cheque."Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!
