information needed please for my brother

my brother has an apartment in spain but he only uses the place when he goes over there.

what he is wanting to know is can he set up an account over here to pay his bills in spain.

at the minute if he runs out of electicity/gas when he is in england he has to fly over to spain and sort it out.

Can't he call the Spanish Company and pay by debit card? Or is it a prepayment meter?

If you mean can he set up an acount with a British company like Scottish Hydro or BG to pay for bills in Spain, no... but BG do own luminoso energy who have english speaking advisors.

Well it depends what payment methods his company accepts, if they accept visa he may be able to bay over the phoen/online, or maybe he could transfer money from his bank account to theirs (the bank might charge for that though as an overseas account).
