Buying RM Special Delivey online, where to drop off item?
Hi, no doubt a stupid question but anyway! I'm sending a valuable item via Royal Mail special delivery with tracking, I did this online and printed the label - it says that if I drop the parcel off at a Post Office outlet there's a £3 charge on top.... does that mean any post office or just the little sub postoffices in…

eBay buyer thinks item isn't genuine ?
I've never had this issue before using ebay. I recently sold a pair of brand new converse without the box on eBay that were customised with diamonds. I brought them on eBay back in February for my self they came in original box, but where they had obviously been at the post office a few days the box was damaged and…

Ebay - old listing page?
Just wondering if someone can help please? I've just gone to list an item for sale and seen Ebay has changed the listing page slightly. Is it possible to get back into the old one? I usually list my few items "centered" for the description and sometimes in colour but can't see where I can do that now. My photo has also…

Having to pay insufficient postage
Recently bought a low value item and seller didn't pay sufficient postage. Needed to drive to sorting office and pay £1.09. Seller was going to reimburse. Had a 'pending' payment from Paypal which has failed. I'm clearly not going to get the money for this. There's nothing I can see for opening a case relevant to…

Goofbid failure..
Had two items I put in Goofbids for. Didn't immediately notice I hadn't received an email confirmation from Goofbid. I don't always get them until a few hours later. Last night's snipe didn't go through at all. Annoying, as I would have won the item. Luckily this morning I happened to be available to bid as I won the…

Cheap Courier for Prohibited Goods (ADR) within UK?
Hi! Does anybody know any cheap UK-to-UK parcel couriers for prohibited goods (ADR) up to 1kg (or any weight up to 5kg/10-15kg max)? I have realised that neither royalmail/parcelforce, nor my hermes/collect+ don't post such things as spray paints, aerosols, perfums, chemicals and so on. I have got a carton of paint…

Where do I stand
I have an almost new range cooker on Ebay, last night I received an email from someone wanting to buy it now at the price advertised £350. I accepted this offer but have not heard back. I notice that the same person has a bid on the cooker of £255 which was placed last night. The auction has just over 3 hours to run. If…

Email from Royal Mail announcing eBay delivery to me?
I've bought hundreds of items on eBay and this is the first time I've ever had an email from Royal Mail about a delivery. Two emails actually - the first sent before 6am this morning, saying an item from [eBay company I bought something from on Wednesday] is at the local office ready for delivery, and the second at 8.24 am…

Ebay problem..
Has anyone else had a problem selling stuff on Ebay. I have tried at least 4 times now to sell my boxed set of Hetty Wainthrop investigates Video's. They are ( i think) very reasonably priced at £5. I have stated quite clearly that this is not an official boxed set .. I have taped them off the telly in LP ( long play)…

Buying an expensive item from eBay, but cash on collection only
Ive been looking at a few mobile phone listings on eBay, a few are listed as cash on collection only. I assume you get no protection whatsoever from eBay when buying under cod, what (if anything) can be done to minimise any risks here. I thinking had over cash, phone is later reported as stolen and barred etc

DSR's
How come have i just got 4 low (1 or 2's) marks for communication? No low stars in any other category, i thought it was nigh on impossible to have dsr marks left for communication if you have not communicated with any buyer? (i have not communicated with any buyer for over 2 weeks) If i look on my seller standard report it…

Quick Question!
Hi, I bought an item from eBay that arrived today. I don't believe that the item is new as described and certainly wouldn't wear it because of the obvious fault. I messaged the seller straight away and they have messaged back disputing the fact that it is new and asking me to return for a full refund. Am I now expected to…

Ebay question
Hi, sold a dress on ebay for a £5 brand new and tagged (worth £25 new) and p&p came to £3.99. Buyer has emailed to say they have received the parcel and have seen i have only paid £2.60 postage. This has happened to me before but it's never bothered me. Would you pay the difference? Thanks

Lost items - what is going on?!
As a business seller I have 1% loss average, does this seem high? I am thinking that I am in a high risk category but it is very frustrating! All my items are packed in a cellophane bag within a purple mailing sack. I print off the packing slips + address which go in doc enc labels wallets. My return address is on the back…

Missing item - sent with another which was received
I sold two items to a buyer in Australia which were paid for immediately and posted tracked. He then bought another two items, again paid immediately and posted tracked. He left feedback for one of the first two items, and then a few days later left feedback for both of the second two items. I've now received a message…

I am just listing an item in a category where max postage I can charge is £7 but my item although fairly light is going to have to be a medium parcel, which is £8 2nd class. Looks like MyHermes has another customer!
