I have an almost new range cooker on Ebay, last night I received an email from someone wanting to buy it now at the price advertised £350. I accepted this offer but have not heard back.
I notice that the same person has a bid on the cooker of £255 which was placed last night. The auction has just over 3 hours to run.
If the auction finishes and it is the same bidder can I insist the buyer pay the buy it now price I agreed to?

No, not if you didn't just put that in the listing. If there was a bid start price too they may have looked at the numbers watching and decided to see if they could get it for less.0

AS above, they win the oven at the end price on ebay.
If you are a newish seller please be aware of the paypal on collection scam , you can't insist on th ebuyer paying cash if they collect but you also can't be forced to allow collection if they do use paypal.
Obviously that scam is not applicable if you are planning to use a courier to send.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Bid the other cooker into orbit, and then they'll buy yours.
